DEFROSTING
If one of the convection functions is selected and the temperature control knob is set to zero, the fan will lead cold air into the oven and promote rapid defrosting of the frozen food. It is not necessary to preheat the oven, but it is still recommended for patisserie.
PLATE WARMING
In many restaurants not only the food but also the plates are usually warm. The reason for this is that the food stays warm longer on them, but also that some dishes only develop their full flavor on warm (often hot) plates. Even if you cook at home, preheating the plates is possible without any problems. The fan distributes the heat optimally to the inner space. With the thermostat you can control the appliance and set it to the desired temperature. The distributed hot air heats the dishes quickly and evenly.
DISINFECTION
Disinfection mode uses high-temperature steam to sterilize dishes, cutlery, baby bottles, etc. For example, if you properly sterilize canning jars before use, jam and preserved fruits and vegetables will keep much longer. The reason is that this kills any germs that might otherwise spoil the preserves.
DRYING
The drying process removes water from the food and extends its shelf life. Most of the vitamins and minerals are preserved. Dehydration is ideal for preparing dried fruit, mushrooms, dried meat and dried fish. Whether it’s fruits, vegetables or herbs, dehydrating allows you to preserve foods in a healthy and tasty way.
DOUGH PROVING
The dough proving mode can be used to cook foods that require fermentation (dough drive, making kvass, yogurt, sour milk and other beverages that “ferment”). This mode can also be used for cooking up to 24 hours. In this case, for example, meat and vegetables become particularly tender and hardly dry out.
KEEP WARMING
The guests are not yet there, the meat needs a little longer or you have forgotten something and now have to keep the finished meal warm? No problem! In general, food – from casseroles, side dishes such as potatoes, rice, pasta and vegetables to cooked meat, tofu and fish – can be conveniently kept warm in the oven. Food is kept warm at a low temperature without cooking further. Ideal for dishes that will be served later.
ECO MODE
Nowadays, protecting the climate and budget is a necessity. Roasting and baking is becoming even more efficient. In economy mode, the fan blower works constantly and the heating elements with pauses. At the same time you can control the right cooking process with the thermostat.
PIZZA MODE
To make the pizza as crispy delicious as by the Italian, it does not need a stone oven. Pizza mode is a combination of hot air and bottom heat. This is ideal for preparing pizza and dishes that require a lot of heat from below. Tip: It’s best to put the baking tray on the bottom rack. In this way, the heat is transferred directly to the pizza
MULTI-COOKING MODE
Top and bottom heat and convection fan turn on alternately, keeping the temperature in the oven constant and cooking and browning your food evenly. This mode is especially recommended for dishes that need to be over-baked or those that require very long cooking times, such as lasagna, pasta bakes, roast chicken or potatoes, etc. In addition, the excellent heat distribution allows the use of lower temperatures during cooking. This results in less juice loss, more tender meat and less weight loss of the roast. The Multi-Cooking mode is particularly suitable for cooking fish, which can be prepared with a small amount of seasoning while retaining flavor and appearance. Excellent results can also be achieved when cooking vegetable side dishes such as zucchini, eggplant, paprika, etc.
GRILL AND SUPER GRILL MODE
You can grill tender pieces of meat, steaks, chops, sausages, fish, cheese toasties and much more. The Super Grill function allows you to take full advantage of the large grilling surface and the food is prepared faster than with the Grill function. Fan-assisted grill mode or multi-grill provides the additional activation of the fan, which prevents food from burning on the surface. Excellent results are achieved with meat and vegetable kebabs, sausages, ribs, lamb chops, chicken in a spicy sauce, quail, pork chops, etc.
